Beautiful Paradoxes

Previous

I met these two gentlemen in the park earlier today. Both came to America as immigrants, one from central Europe many years ago, the other from Ghana not so long ago; and yet they find themselves here together, one as caregiver with many years ahead on this planet, the other as elder soon to embark on a new journey. The world is vast. The world is small. Life is short. Life is eternal. Everything and its opposite are always true, because the *real* truth is beyond conceptualization. Until we become "It," we have to accept these beautiful paradoxes.
