A compassionate society

Previous

A compassionate society is neither authoritarian nor democratic. Instead, it extends to the very lowest, most forgotten stranger to completely embrace even the very weakest.

Without community and connection, cruelty and indifference always creep in.

The disease may be chronic and not altogether curable, but it is treatable with a cleansed heart and ongoing effort.
